Job Description:	Universal Music Group is currently seeking a Director of New Business Development for the Woodland Hills, CA location. The Director of New Business Development is primarily responsible for managing and supervising the New Business Development Department. He or she will be required to develop strategies and plans to market all content owned by UMLE. This includes negotiations with brands, artists, managers, agencies and media outlets. This position will be responsible for achieving the financial goals established by the company and serving and developing plans to create new avenues of revenues, most of all through the creation of media outlets (such as radio and TV) that would be owned and controlled by the label. Responsible for the development of the new media outlets for the company, and the sale of UMLE content through them, including the supervision of its operation. Involved in financial goal planning and setting the plans to reach them. Actively seeking new opportunities by reaching out to potential clients or the agencies that manage those brands.
Job Requirements:	Skills Required: • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Experience in dealing with brands and media • Knowledge in the TV sales and production area • Needs to be knowledgeable/have experience in the Latin market Preferred: • Experience in dealing with brands and media • Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business preferred
