Job Title: Manager of Digital Services

Job Description: Universal Music Group is currently seeking a Manager of Ditigal Services for the Universal City, CA location.

Roles and Responsibilities
The primary role of the Manager of Digital Services will be to liaise with a variety of online digital partners (e.g. Amazon, CinemaNow, Hulu, iTunes, Netflix, etc.) and communicate upcoming VE digital releases (for both new and catalog products). Based on this schedule, they will pitch, secure, coordinate and manage specific promotions, as well as any on-going premium placement of titles within partner services.

Additional responsibilities will include coordinating with a variety of internal VE and UMG teams (including Digital Operations, Brand Management, UMGD Sales, UML, etc.) and VE studio partners to ensure that various logistical timelines are met and any required assets are delivered in order to maintain release schedule goals and secured promotions.

The Manager of Digital Services will also provide a supporting role to studio partners and/or the VE Home Entertainment group, providing input and advice on a variety of areas including digital release and monetization strategies, product development (e.g. mobile personalization products), digital marketing tie-ins (Digital Copy, CRM, etc.), best practices, etc.

Finally, the role will involve supporting digital business development activities, by conducting general market research, testing services and generally keeping abreast of the latest developments in both the online and mobile digital video marketplace.
Job Requirements: Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and knowledge of online movie and TV distribution services and monetization models, as well as a basic knowledge of mobile entertainment business models and marketing practices (personalization products, mobile TV and VOD, etc.).

They will also have a passion for filmed entertainment and the ability to represent our studio partners’ products with excitement and conviction, explaining why it deserves prime merchandising placement on a particular digital partners’ services.

To this end, they will be highly results orientated and creative, enabling them to constantly seek out new merchandising opportunities, promotions, etc., and ways to maximize the digital revenue of a property across all partners, channels, windows, products, etc.

Finally, the successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and have the ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal manner.

Specific qualifications and skills should include:
•A college degree.
•2-5 years experience, ideally in online marketing and/or sales.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) a must.
•Experience with graphic design tools such a Photoshop a plus.
